In the end of the 1980s, this airplane was operated for Austrian Airlines - today, the airline still opts for various Fokker types. About 25 airplanes of the types Fokker 70 and Fokker 100 are currently in the fleet. This 1/200 scale model was originally produced for toy- and model shops in Austria - a partial edition is now also available from Herpa eXtra-shopping.
