On February 18, 1963, Austrian Airlines commissioned its first of five jets. The Caravelle, registered OE-LCA, represented an enormous gain in prestige for the airline. The limited model is equipped with rubber tires and, behind its cockpit, carries the logo of the Olympic Winter Games, held in Innsbruck in 1964.
