In 1985, Tyrolean Airways acquired its first Dash 8-100s, which remained an integral part of Austrian Airlines’ regional fleet after the airline was acquired in 1998. In May 2021, this Dash 8-Q400 had the sad honor of being the last flight of an Austrian Airlines Q400, for which it received an extra sticker “Pfiat Di, Dash”, Austrian German for “Goodbye Dash”.
