To close the gap until the arrival of the Eurofighter, Austria borrowed twelve F-5s from its Swiss neighbor from 2005. The radio frequency was written on many auxiliary tanks for intercepted airplanes to switch over to. On some airplanes – just like on our model – the entire tank was painted with fluorescent paint.
