In 1988, the first and to-date only example took off in Kiev with the name AN-225 “Mriya”. The giant is equipped with six Lotarew D-18 engines with 229 kN thrust each and is capable of transporting a payload of up to 250 tons. Entirely made of metal and with a landing gear featuring 32 rubber tires, the 1/500 scale model will be a true highlight in each collection not only because of its size.
