The MD-83 was a popular plane, among passengers, pilots, and airline managers alike. And one of the most beautiful and exceptional liveries was certainly the one of Air Outre Mer (AOM) from France. AOM was also active in the French domestic market, competing Air France. This approach failed, as the airline thought it wise to seek shelter under the roof of the SAir group around Swissair. This was the special model for the ILA exhibition in Berlin.
