Air Berlin’s ”surprise jet” now also comes in the 1/400 scale, as a limited edition of 1,000 models. In May 2004, the airlinesurprised onlookers when it received its third Boeing 737-76Q. The one with the registration D-ABBN carried a design similarto the future widebody twinjet Boeing 787, which up to that point had only existed as a computer animation.
