One of the main attractions of the Technik-Museum in Sinsheim, Germany is now released as a die-cast metal model in the 1/400 scale. CCCP-77112 made its maiden flight in 1979, but besides over 80 test and evaluation flights, never entered regular scheduled service. It remained in storage for almost 20 years until the Technik-Museum Sinsheim purchased the TU-144D and ferried it by barge from Moscow to Sinsheim over a distance of more than 4,000 kilometers, where it has been on display ever since, right next to the Concorde.
