Last year, Aegean Airlines, Greece’s biggest private airline, for the first time outdid the state carrier Olympic Airlines in terms of total passenger volume. By 2010, Aegean will be operating an Airbus–only fleet consisting of 23 A320-200s and three of the new flagship A321-200s including the original of this model, SX-DGA, equipped with IAE-2500 turbofans.
