Max Bögl senior founded a masonry already in 1929. In 1955, Max Bögl junior joined the company and expanded it with road- and channel construction. In 1973, the company was transferred to the sons Hans and Max Bögl. It became the Max Bögl Bauunternehmung GmbH & Co. KG and a first subsidiary was founded in Erlangen. Next to already achieved take-overs, the first subsidiaries in East Germany were added in 1990. In 1994, the first foreign subsidiary was founded in Czechia. In 1997, a structural change followed. From the hitherto consolidated company, single branches were outsourced but remained independent companies within the company network. The company group comprises of six plants for precast parts in Neumarkt, Bachhausen near Berching, Gera, Linthe, Hamminkeln and Liebenau as well as over 30 additional locations in Germany an European countries with affiliated production sites. For the „Max Bögl“ edition, four additional vehicles were released – a mobile workshop with Bögl fleet number 881 Type Mercedes Sprinter (year of construction 2006), an Actros Titan heavy-duty truck with three-axle Goldhofer trailer including excavator bed (fleet number 614), an MAN TGA three-axle truck with Meiller tipping trough (fleet no. 954) and an MAN TGA XXL heavy-duty truck with four-axle tractor and a Goldhofer heavy-duty roller with 14 axle-units (fleet no. 611).
