After the big municipal fire departments Hamburg, Bremen and Stuttgart, Herpa now releases another one: The municipal fire department Munich. A good 300 officers work there which are divided in ten fire departments and nine emergency physician stations. In the large fleet is also the original of this mold novelty, the Mercedes-Benz Atego (manufacturing year 2004) serving as rescue vehicle. These are especially equipped for technical assistance. They are usually staffed with three people to be able to transport as much heavy machinery and aggregates as possible. Furthermore it comprises of a built-in cable winch, a power set and sometimes also of a loading crane.
