Following extensive refits and modifications, the Airbus A320 with the registration D-ATRA" was officially introduced on April 15 and named "Otto Lilienthal", after the German aviation pioneer. For the occasion, Herpa produced a special run of models of this research aircraft for the German Research Center for Aeronautics and Space (DLR). A partial quantity is now made available exclusively through our eXtra Partner Shops (in June 2010).
