German shipowing company Zeppelin NT

On September 18, 1997, almost exactly 70 years after the tragic explosion of the air ship LZ-129 “Hindenburg” during landing at New York, a so-called Zeppelin Neuer Technologie (NT) took off for the first time from Friedrichshafen near Lake Constance. This Zeppelin is inflated with fire-proof helium enclosed in a newly developed shell made of tear-proof multi-layer laminate material. Four examples of this Zeppelin NT have been manufactured so far. The first of them is now released in the 1/200 scale, on which even the mobility of the propellers is perfectly rendered.
